The Elizabeth Brewster House is located on Main Street in the picturesque, quaint village of Homer, New York. Homer is located just 2 miles north of Cortland in the “heart” of New York State. It’s the gateway to the Finger Lake’s region offering beauty and enjoyment year round. Operated on a non-profit basis under the guidance of the Board of Mangers and the Board of Trustees, EBH is licensed by the New York State Department of Social Services. The home is up to date and meets all safety regulations. Services include three-home-cooked , balanced meals and snacks daily, approved by a registered dietician. Personal laundry, housekeeping, linens, assistance with medications and personal care as required, a directed recreation program and 24-hour staffing are all included in one monthly payment. Also, a new fitness center was installed in Fall of 2007. Travel distance between Homer and the following cities: 25 miles South of Syracuse 44 miles north of Binghamton 30 miles west of Auburn 25 miles northeast of Ithaca 37 miles southwest of Cazenovia
